Community. Affordability. Trust.

Meet Eddie Sabatini

Eddie Sabatini is passionate about local advocacy and grassroots organizing. Before becoming a stay-at-home dad, Eddie led a business unit for an international digital automotive publication and taught in diverse classrooms.

A first-generation American raised in Michigan by an entrepreneurial father and an educator mother, Eddie has always valued hard work, public service, and looking out for his neighbors. That’s why doesn’t shy away from projects others don’t want to tackle like when he founded the Kulick Coalition—a grassroots effort to protect Ferndale’s long-neglected Community Center—where he brought people together, cut through red tape, and proved that real change starts with listening and working together.

Let’s work together to cultivate a Ferndale we all have a future in!

We can maintain what makes Ferndale special and address the problems we’re facing with bold and effective policies. On City Council, Eddie will work to:

  • Maintain vibrant public spaces for all residents, from infants to seniors

  • Prioritize affordable, people-first growth, not speculative development

  • Penalize chronic landlord absenteeism, enact strong protections for renters, and rein in short-term rentals

  • Ensure reliable city services so we get our money’s worth on taxes
